I can't seem to log in to Fics. I get this message when I try: Timeseal: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. Anyone else have this trouble?

Same thing here... I get a message from Babas saying that the connection is refused. Evidently, there's a problem with the server. Let's hope it's not a hacker again.

You're not the only one. I received a server shutdown message, and was logged off just about 30 minutes ago. Can't log-in now. Clearly a server problem.

I would advise not visiting www.freechess.org right now. The hacker might attempt to install some malware on your computer, or try to steal your password.

What do we do about our TL games?

It will be impossible to play any TL games until FICS is back. I doubt that will happen today.

I'm afraid the games will have to wait until we get news from FICS admin - I guess it will be posted on the FICS game databese page at www.ficsgames.org like last time.
